FAQs

How do I subscribe?
Subscribing to ChinaConnectU is easy. Simply choose the plan you want (monthly, quarterly, or yearly (best value!)) and click on the button. You will be automatically taken to our shopping cart. You will leave this page and enter the Berkshire Publishing Group (our parent company) check-out pages. After entering your information in our shopping cart, you will be redirected to our registration page. After registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address. Click on the link provided in the email and you will be taken to the ChinaConnectU login page. Please enter your user name and password each time you log in.

Can I use the individual membership for more than one user?
Unfortunately not. The ChinaConnectU individual membership is a single-user license. You are welcome to access your account from different computers (e.g., your laptop, your desktop computer, your smartphone; up to 5 unique IP addresses a day), but you are not allowed to share your password with somebody else. If more people need to access ChinaConnectU, please check out our affordable options for group membership and institutional licensing here.
NB. If two or more computers try to access your account at the same time, you will automatically be locked out. To fix this, please email us at cservice@chinaconnectu.com.

Will my credit card get charged right away?
Nope. You have a 14-day free trial period, and your card won’t be charged during that period. Once your 14 days are up, we will send you a reminder and give you the option to continue or cancel your subscription (although we are sad to see you go!). If you decide to continue with your ChinaConnectU subscription, you don’t have to do anything; your credit card will automatically be charged for the appropriate amount, and you can keep using our resources without interruption.

How about my privacy and security?
Your privacy and security are very important to us and we understand that you are entrusting ChinaConnectU with confidential information. We will take all reasonable measures to safeguard your information, and we will always give you the opportunity to opt out of mailings or to change your notification preferences. We will never share or sell your email address to a third party.

What if I want to cancel?
To cancel your ChinaConnectU subscription, you’ll have to send us an email at cservice@chinaconnectu.com, and we will cancel your account. Remember that you have to cancel your account before your next billing cycle starts. We unfortunately cannot give you a refund once the next billing cycle has started, so make sure you let us know on time! Also be aware that once your account is canceled, you no longer have access to ChinaConnectU‘s many resources, reviews, regular updates, and more. You can still access our blogs, and will still receive our newsletter.
