Peter MORICI is a professor at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He formerly served as director of economics at the United States International Trade Commission. Morici received a PhD in economics from the State University of New York at Albany in 1974. In 1976 he joined the Federal Energy Administration; in 1978 he moved to the National Planning Association in Washington, D.C., where he served in positions of increasing research
